Our Evolution
The technology changed. Our name changed. Now our mission is evolving too.
NaSPA began in 1986 as the National Systems Programmers Association, serving the specialists who kept large computing environments running. As networking, telecommunications, distributed systems, disaster recovery, security, and other disciplines expanded, NaSPA evolved in 1997 into the Network and Systems Professionals Association.
